Holden Beach is a barrier island stretching 8 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in the Southeastern North Carolina Coast. It has received numerous awards and accolades over the years for being one of the best beaches in North Carolina and along the East Coast. Bordered on the East by the Lockwood Folly Inlet giving way to the Lockwood Folly River and the Shallotte River to the West there are endless options for boating, fishing, kayaking and exploring the waters around Holden Beach.
